The Execution Management System (EMS) accepts orders from different sources, including FIX channels, broker networks, P2P and third party OMS for institutional investors. A proprietary client is also available for white labeling.
Orders are executed either automatically or under the supervision of an operator.
The Brokerage Platform supports multi-venue operations and exploits high efficiency DMA to connected markets or access via external brokers.
The EMS system functionalities may be further enriched integrating List Group matching engine, to deploy internal markets, dark pools and crossing systems.
Automated execution strategies are implemented using FastTrade Algo Trading components and are fully integrated with the EMS order workflow.
To support multi-venue dynamic best execution, a Smart Order Routing (SOR) engine with a configurable MiFID compliant Best Execution facility is embedded in the FastTrade Brokerage Platform.
The SOR includes a full-featured data management system for customer profiles, instruments, venues, brokers, fees, order validation rules, routing tables, etc.
The SOR engine also supports advance features such as configurable sweeping (i.e. change execution venues of partially filled orders under predefined conditions). FastTrade Brokerage platform exploits Position Management and Post-trading tools.
The middle office components of the Brokerage Platform manage the post trading flow of brokerage activities.
This includes the post-trading checks of deals, the fee management and the deals splitting and aggregation activities.
The system keeps the whole history of managed orders: a log containing all actions and events related to executions can be easily navigated by mean of a dedicated user interface.
One of the key features of the middle office component is an advanced exception management for trades that need unusual treatments.
Easy to integrate with members Back –Office procedure, the platform embedded middle office component may also interact with third-party systems that offer automatic deal confirmation capabilities and with mail/fax server to send relevant notifications to member’s client.
The middle office component is natively integrated with FastTrade brokerage platform or it can be used in a standalone installation to manage the STP flow from a FO to a BO system.
